Hello From Yvonne le Roux
Hi everyone. I am a nursing sister at Kloof Rest Home. My name is Yvonne le Roux. I have 3 daughters and 2 small dogs. I did my training at Grey’s Hospital and qualified in 1992. I was then fortunate enough to do a bit of travelling and worked in the UK for a while. On returning I settled down.
I thank God that He hears and answers our prayers according to His will. I have always loved the elderly and children. It gave me the joy to be at home with my children, whilst they were growing up. During that time I realised my need for God’s presence in my life. I was unable to parent effectively without His help. Thankfully I became a Christian.
It was my desire when I returned to work, to be in an environment where God was put first. To my joy, it was a legacy that Sister Hilary has instilled since becoming Matron. We begin our day in prayer. I am so grateful and privileged to work here.
