Five villages, a well-appointed care centre and an assisted living facility at Vian House — all in the Upper Highway, not-for-profit.
Kloof Retirement Villages is KZN's oldest retirement organisation — a registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) caring since 1904. We manage five retirement villages in Kloof, Hillcrest and Winston Park, plus the Winston Park Care Centre — offering every level of care from independent living to frail and palliative care, so our residents never have to move away from the people who know them.
Residents here don't retire from life. They pursue it — in established gardens, in familiar community, and with the security of knowing that care is on hand the day it's needed.

Established gardens, social calendars and neighbours who become friends. A village, in the true sense.
A full continuum of care on one campus — independent living, assisted living at Vian House, and frail care at Winston Park.
Maintained grounds and buildings, a Maintenance Stabilisation Fund, and management that handles the practical so you don't have to.
PBO governance, accountable to the community. Decisions made for residents — not for return on investment.
From a short respite stay to round-the-clock nursing — the care grows with you, so you never start over with strangers. As a registered PBO, every rand goes back into the homes, gardens, kitchens and care.
You purchase the right to live in your unit for life — governed by the Housing Development Scheme for Retired Persons Act. It's simpler, more affordable and more secure than traditional property transfer.
Life Rights, ExplainedA once-off purchase secures your home for life, without the costs that come with freehold or sectional title.
Your right of occupation is protected by national legislation and held by a 120-year-old association — not a developer.
Rates, insurance, maintenance of buildings and communal gardens are managed for you.
A transparent agreement your children can understand — no transfer delays, no surprises for your estate.
